Daniel Lema Vidal

Short bio

Born in 1985, Daniel Lema Vidal earned his Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Zaragoza, Spain. Previously, he graduated with Distinction from the MA in Visual Anthropology at the Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology (University of Manchester, UK). In recent years, his research has focused on embodied ethnographic theory and ethno-filmic practices within the realms of philosophical anthropology and existential phenomenology. Before his doctorate, he worked extensively as a freelance photographer and video-maker, and his photographic work has been exhibited at the University of Edinburgh, among other collective exhibitions as in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vigo (MARCO, Spain). Daniel Lema Vidal also holds a Law & Economics Degree and a BA in Professional Photography. He is currently working as a Philosophy Teacher at High School level in Spain.
